Oxford Balmoral boot with punched cap toe, made with black Boxcalf leather using our INCAS rubber sole.
For this model, we chose our last ALAN with width F. Semi square toe in an elegant and comfortable fit. A great pairing for formal outfits, although it has enough details to work well in more casual settings.

Made with the Goodyear Welted technique in our own factory in Inca, Mallorca. Following traditional techniques by very skillful artisans. This manufacturing process, of more than 150 steps, consists of a double stitching to join the leather, the insole and the sole providing a level of durability far superior to other conventional shoe. This type of construction, also provides extraordinary comfort and insulation thanks to the natural cork layer, placed under the insole which allows to be molded and acquiring the anatomy of each foot.

Our shoes are made to last and to just get better looking and more comfortable over the time.

Shoe care

  • Brush the shoe to remove any dust or dirt.
  • Apply a small amount of Pâte De Luxe with a cotton chamois cloth or the Spreading Brush to reach the welt seams and enable nourishment and protection of this delicate area.
  • Massage gently to allow Pâte De Luxe to nourish and provide maximum protection to the leather.
  • Apply one or two coats of Pâte De Luxe to the entire shoe.
    Leave to dry for five minutes between coats.
  • Gently polish the leather with a bristle brush or a wool glove.
  • For a high-gloss finish, apply additional coats to the toe and heel. Avoid over-application to the vamp of the shoe because excessive movement can crack the wax coating.

Incredible boot for my wedding day

I contacted TLB Mallorca about size and fit for this boot. I sent in a picture of my foot as they had asked with a description of other dress shoes that fit me, including the last. They guided me into the proper size for this boot and it is now my favorite shoe in my collection. It was a purchase for my wedding shoe and this boot is a perfect interpretation of a menswear classic with an attractive more modern toe shape. This boot is deceiving in its slenderness but even though it is sleek it is still very comfortable.

This is my go-to black footwear option when wearing a dark conservative suit where any black captoe oxford would’ve worked, I can express my preference for classic style with this boot which is easily swapped for the aforementioned.

GOOD LOOKING BUT LONG BOOTS

Good looking boots. The quality of the leather is mediocre. The day I received them, I took them to my local cobbler for a shine and found out that it is impossible. One day it drizzled and some water got on them. Quality leather should not be affected by a few drops of water. However, these boots are! I bought these and another pair of boots, the Orson II. My review of those is not very positive, so I don't know if they will publish it. At any rate, my complaint about those is the exaggeratedly long. Typically I wear size UK 9 but I was recommended to order 8.5, which is perfect. However, side by side with other shoes I own these boots look size 11. In my opinion, TLB needs to rethink the last for these boots. This is my third pair of TLB footwear. I own a pair of Oxford from their Artista line. They are good looking shoes and I am satisfied with them, though not 100%. I think that at this point I can say that I will not buy more TLB shoes. I learned my lesson.
