  • Unique types of leather

Country calf leather and hatch grain leather are both unique types of leather that offer distinct textures and characteristics. Country calf leather is a type of full-grain leather that is tanned using a special process that gives it a rugged, natural look. It is typically thicker and more durable than other types of leather, and it often features natural markings, such as scars or scratches, that add to its rustic charm.

  • Shoe styles

Our embossed grain leather shoes are made from European & US Calf Skins with special tannage, which keeps them supple but strong. Hatch grain leather, on the other hand, is a type of leather that is embossed with a unique pattern. It is typically made from high-quality full-grain leather, and the embossing process adds a subtle texture and depth to the leather.

  • High-quality full-grain

Hatch grain leather is commonly used in dress shoes and other formal footwear for a unique and sophisticated look. It is often a popular choice among those who want a distinctive and luxurious leather due to the complexity of the embossing process. Discover our Country calf leather from Dupuy's tannery, and Hatch grain from Horween's.

  • STEP 1 - DUST AND DIRT

Remove any loose dirt from the shoes using a soft-bristled brush or a dry cloth. Use a small amount of leather cleaner with lukewarm water in a bowl. Dip a soft cloth or sponge into the soapy water and wring it out until it's damp but not dripping wet.

  • STEP 2 - CLEANING PROCESS

Once you've cleaned the entire shoe, use a clean damp cloth to wipe away any excess soap or cleaner. Stuff the shoes with a shoe tree to help them retain their shape as they dry.

  • STEP 3 THE DRYING PROCESS

Allow the shoes to air dry away. Avoid using a hairdryer or heater as this can cause the leather to crack or become brittle. Once the shoes are completely dry, you can apply some shoe cream, letting them dry again. You can also apply some Pâte De Luxe to help restore their shine & protect them from future stains and damage.
