Waxy Commander

Waxy Commander is a robust, water-resistant, and easy-to-maintain leather designed for all-weather wear. Its naturally rugged finish and oily, wax-infused surface make it highly resilient while still developing a rich patina over time. Follow the steps below to keep your boots looking their best.

  • Waterproof Performance

Waxy Commander naturally offers strong water resistance thanks to its wax-infused structure. This makes it ideal for wet or winter conditions, allowing the leather to repel moisture while remaining flexible. Although the leather performs well on its own, occasional reinforcement with a suitable waterproofing product will help maintain long-term protection.

  • Aging & Patina Development

One of the defining features of Waxy Commander leather is the beautiful patina it develops over time. With regular wear, the tones deepen, the surface gains character, and small marks blend into the natural texture of the leather. This evolving appearance is intentional and considered part of the charm, giving each pair a unique look.

  • Durability & Everyday Use

This leather is crafted for heavy use, combining resilience with comfort. Its sturdy structure makes it suitable for outdoor environments, while its softness ensures a comfortable fit as the leather molds to the foot. Waxy Commander is designed to handle demanding conditions without sacrificing style, making it a reliable choice for daily wear.

  • STEP 1 - CLEANING & BASIC CARE

Regularly brush off dirt, dust, and dried mud to keep your Waxy Commander shoes clean. If necessary, you can wipe them with a slightly damp cloth, but avoid soaking the leather. Thanks to its rugged and resilient nature, Waxy Commander leather is easy to maintain, so a gentle routine cleaning is sufficient to keep it in great condition.

  • STEP 2 - CONDITIONING & PROTECTION

Condition your shoes or boots lightly every 1–2 months using products suitable for oiled leathers, avoiding heavy creams that could alter the finish. To maintain water resistance, you can occasionally apply an oil or wax-based waterproofing spray. Be sure to avoid silicone sprays and high-shine polishes, as these can negatively affect the leather’s texture and appearance.

  • STEP 3 - DRYING & STORAGE

If your shoes or boots get wet, allow them to air-dry away from direct heat sources, and use shoe trees or paper to help maintain their shape. Store them in a cool, dry place with shoe trees to preserve their structure. Over time, the leather will naturally develop a patina with wear, adding character and uniqueness to each pair.
